FMR Consulting, a company specialized in quantatitive finance and solutions for financial analysis, is now part of List Group. With its holding in FMR, List Group has enhanced its ability to organize global solutions by offering a vast range of integrated services, from quoting to analysis and decision support, from risk management to back office.

June 26, 2006 

For de occasion of opening of the Israeli MTS market, FMR launches a commercial campaign in Israel. The result is a distribution agreement with the local company Modelity Technologies, that handles distribution and support of FMR’s products. Thanks to this agreement FMR acquires 9 new customers for the automatic pricing and hedging system FMR pricing system, developed with the collaboration of List Group. The peculiarities of dealing with small amounts of liquidity and the development of the Israeli market, along with the sophistication of the dealers, are a new challenge for FMR, who are providing its customers personalized financial instrument specifically for the Israeli market.

December 28, 2005 

On December 21st 2005, the Italian Ministry of Economics and Finance announced that the new issues of Certificati di Credito del Tesoro (CCT) shall adopt a novel indexation algorithm. Starting from CCT Nov 2012 (IT0003993158, auctioned at the end of December), the semiannual BOT rate, the base index for the coupon calculation, shall be rounded to the nearest cent (as opposed to the nearest 5 cents). Previous CCT issues shall not be affected. FMR3000 libraries have been updated and the new version 2.0.0b, fully supporting the new indexation algorithm, is now available. This is a MANDATORY UPGRADE to guarantee the accuracy of future CCT coupon calculation. FMR4000 Users, on the other hand, can simply configure the new rounding algorithm in the database. March 3, 2004 

In February 2004 FMR released the new FMR3000 Version Pack 2.0.0a. This version includes the support to the new taxation system in line with the Italian decree law 269 dated 30th of September, 2003 clause 41, paragraphs 4 to 8, which repeals article 13 of decree law dated 21st of November 1997 (“fiscal equalizator”). This change impacts on the valuation of net yields and of lieu tax for securities Z.C. with maturity higher than 18 month subject to the Italian taxation system.

A new Master of Science in “Complexity and its Interdisciplinary Applications” will start in January 2004 at the University Institute of Advanced Studies, University of Pavia, Italy. The first version of FMR Historical Data Framework has been officially released. FMR HDF is the new software for managing historical financial series. FMR HDF is comprised of a SQL Server database, an asp.NET web interface, as well as Off Line and On Demand Calculators.
